How do I track a shift with a flexible end time?
Start a shift without a set end time. Once you're done, end the shift and the app will calculate your total earnings.
What are Split Shifts?
Split Shifts let you divide a single shift into segments with different hourly rates. Great for tracking different pay rates within the same shift.
How can I track my progress towards an earnings goal?
Set a yearly earnings or hours goal in the app. Overtime Live shows a progress bar to keep you motivated.
Does Overtime Live support NHS overtime rates?
Yes. NHS workers can set their band rate and apply the correct overtime multiplier — typically time and a third (1.33×) for unsocial hours, or time and a half (1.5×) for bank holidays. Use the custom rate field to match your exact NHS band agreement.
Can police officers use Overtime Live to track overtime?
